Burns & McDonnell Electrical Jobsite Quality Control Inspector - AZCO (Appleton) in Appleton, Wisconsin
Responsible for completing inspections and tests under the direction of the Site Quality Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Write exact and accurate inspection reports daily.
Effectively communicate with foreman and superintendent to assure specifications and code inspections are met.
Understand and interpret NEC and NFPA codes, specifications, and customer requirements.
Verify work is being performed and documented in accordance with the AZCO quality program, site quality plan, inspection and testing plans and applicable procedures.
Assist with scheduling any necessary 3rd party testing that may be required.
Assist with project turnover of quality related items and documentation.
Maintain accurate reports of quality control inspections.
Participate in the Jobsite Safety Observations (JSO's) process and define corrective measures for problem areas
Comply with all Safety & Health requirements and monitors construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.
No direct supervisory responsibilities. Under the direction of the Site Quality Supervisor, oversee the quality process at assigned site and assist in the supervision of on-site employees to ensure quality programs and regulations are being followed.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED; and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful candidates shall have a minimum 6 years of verifiable electrical experience on industrial projects.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer and a strong background in MS Excel, Word, and Blue-Beam.
- Must be available to travel to jobsites not yet determined for the duration of a given project.
