AZCO Tool & Equipment Asset Manager - AZCO (Appleton, WI) in Appleton, Wisconsin

Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the tracking of tools and equipment and analyzing inventory, cost, and utilization to guide management and leadership decisions on budget, purchases, and loss mitigation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure administrative and office functions of Tool & Equipment (T&E) shop functions smoothly.

  • Train and develop staff to ensure accurate charge outs from T&E shop to projects

  • Responsible for integrity of T&E charges

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tool Watch issues and project costing issues

  • Develop best practices and efficiencies within Tool Watch

  • Coordinate routine inventory counts of consumables inventory

  • Ensure consumables inventory value is accurately represented

  • Analyze equipment buy vs lease options

  • Create and/or enhance reporting on equipment usage, profitability, rate of return, and other analysis

  • Assist in development of T&E rental rates

  • Update T&E rental rates on routine basis

  • Update T&E replacement values on routine basis

  • Analyze burden rates routinely and communicate any changes within the organization

  • Provide reporting to senior leadership monthly

  • Assist Accounting with reconciliations, asset set ups and useful life assignments as needed

  • Coordinate the tracking and reporting of internal asset development efforts

  • Requisition Purchase Orders

  • Ensure accurate coding of AP invoices

  • Continual benchmarking of T&E Business against Equipment Watch and/or other industry metrics & standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Tool & Equipment department Administrative Assistant position ensuring duties and responsibilities are completed accordingly.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Experience in inventory management or equipment tracking systems is helpful.
