Burns & McDonnell Marketing Coordinator - Management & Support (Brea) in Brea, California


The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development of winning proposals in response for Requests For Proposals (RFPs), including the proposal management plan and content development. This position will collaborate with business development and project management professionals to coordinate proposal and marketing deliverables and presentations, communication efforts, conferences and events.

  • Assist with proposal management plan, draft storyboards, develop win themes and strategy, and collaborate with project teams. Assist in reviews and copyediting.

  • Assist in preparation of information and materials for submittal, presentations, and proposals.

  • Develop graphics and charts that visually communicate concepts and ideas key to proposal content.

  • Assist with the submittal for industry and project awards

  • Assist in CRM updates and data input

  • Coordinate internal communications efforts specific to region.

  • Coordinate marketing functions or special events.

  • Attend professional associations, conferences to build professional network and help market company to potential clients and partners. Assist with booth setup.

  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related degree is required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical writing and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.
