Opportunities may include but not limited to:

  • Innovating project approach to optimize safety, schedule, and profitability.

  • Mentoring less experienced engineers in their technical and professional development.

  • Performing quality control reviews.

  • Leading/Overseeing site grading and stormwater management designs.

  • Leading/Overseeing the development of permitting documentation.

  • Providing support for our clients during permitting and construction.

  • Performing field inspections and compliance documentation.

  • Leading a team of multi-discipline professionals to ensure project success.

  • Presenting designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, etc.

  • Preparation of construction documents including plans, specifications, permitting documents, which may include model outputs, exhibits and correspondence.

  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling with the ability to adapt to various site conditions.

  • Corresponding and/or meeting with clients, contractors, and vendors.

  • Leading project proposal efforts.

  • Advancing into leadership roles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in civil engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and licensure as a Professional Engineering (PE).

  • Seven (7) years of civil engineering or environmental engineering experience, consulting preferred. Master of Science degree in civil or environmental engineering may be substituted for one (1) year experience.

  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a dynamic, quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

  • Strong knowledge in standard civil engineering techniques and principles to support various submittals associated with design, permitting and client requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills (e.g. hydraulic and hydrologic analysis programs, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Pondpack, StormCAD, HY-8, TR-20).
