Burns & McDonnell Industrial Systems Analyst - 1898 & Co. (Houston) in Houston, Texas
The Industrial Systems Analyst is responsible for building system kits, configuring and testing both onshore and offshore for critical infrastructure project engagements. This includes supporting good client relationships, collaboration with project managers, and playing a hands-on leadership role with the Industrial Field Technician with respect to project deliverables.
Ensures client satisfaction through proactively applying client requirements to project deliverables
Perform building solution kits, configuring and testing, as required.
Assist before and during client meetings with preparation and data presentation
Participate and collaborate with other systems leads and/or field technicians, and project managers to manage to scope, schedule, and budget
Continually update personal skills, knowledge, and experience in OT domain, tools, and standards
Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
Responsible for conducting QA/QC process adherence.
Responsible for effective communication with other disciplines.
Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
All other duties as assigned.
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Ideal Experience Includes:
Willingness to obtain BOSIET helicopter safety certification, OGUK medical clearance, Passport, and TSA TWIC
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, depending on alignment within the business line.
Exposure or willingness to work within critical infrastructure industry sectors such as Power, Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Petroleum, Water/Wastewater, Manufacturing, Maritime, Transportation, DoD/Federal, etc.
Willingness to work with OT SCADA/PCS/DCS, OT Protocols, assets/devices (ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, Foxboro, Emerson, Yokogawa etc.), Data Historians, and engineering of those solutions
Basic understanding of industrial systems, industrial networking, cabling, and firewalls; network troubleshooting and Windows setup experience is required
Basic skill levels in Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Willingness to work and operate in clients’ sometimes physically demanding critical infrastructure environments. This can include long shifts (12-hour days), lifting requirements (50 Lbs.), and extensive climbing and/or walking to inspect critical infrastructure equipment.
Additional Preferred Experience:
Amazon/Azure (any), Cisco Certifications (any), MCSA/MCSE
Microsoft ADS role and policy knowledge and experience
BOSIET certification, TWIC certification
Scripting or Programming experience (Python, PowerShell)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
