We’re growing our UK business and have exciting opportunities for an experienced and motivated Architect to join us in our London office as we continue our journey to help make our clients successful. We have an opportunity for a Senior Architect to join our team, working on a variety of high-tech building design and construction projects. Project focus would initially be data centres and telecommunications facilities and would grow to include a variety of other facilities including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, airports, or institutional.

Job Profile
The Architect will assist project teams of architects, designers, and engineers to create world-class designs on a variety of projects including corporate, mission critical, healthcare, airports, institutional, governmental, aerospace, and military from concept design through completion of construction.
Develop concept design and master planning to suit the client brief with the ability to provide unique solutions and original thinking where required.
Work on a variety of design projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
Approve developing, modifying, and reviewing production drawings for mission-critical, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, and governmental and military facilities.
Approve the development of interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
Expert knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
Manage data compiled as required by the project managers.
Prepare and present client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and construction administration.
Oversee field inspections, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients.
Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities.
Manage sales and marketing efforts and identify key pursuits.
Responsible for ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Assist in the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance. Present project budgets and cost estimates.
Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
Development of interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
Manage data compiled as required by the project managers.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, from an accredited program (equivalent qualifications in a similar field may also be considered).
Minimum of 8 years of related architectural design experience
Highly skilled in Architectural design principles, standards, and codes
Datacenter or telecommunication facility experience and knowledge of critical facility Mechanical design.
Good experience at the concept design level to assist with the development of data center masterplans
Ability to write specifications for all architectural elements and standards of workmanship.
Excellent experience in working with structural, MEP, and coordination with those disciplines
High levels of IT literacy
Membership of a relevant industry body, e.g. RIBA
Highly skilled in using software required including AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D Rendering Programs, and Microsoft Professional Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of European Standards.
