Position available for a mechanical engineer with experience in a variety of facility mechanical system and subsystems including: studies, layout, specification and design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, utilities, infrastructure, and controls. Position will focus on the design of large scale manufacturing facilities.

Additional duties include:

  • May develop and evaluate plans for major projects.

  • May assess feasibility or soundness of proposed applications when data is insufficient or testing is advisable.

  • Develop flow diagrams, P&IDs, and sequences of operation as required.

  • May coordinate departmental or divisional project studies, reports or project design assignments.

  • Progressive design responsibilities.

  • Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.

  • Regularly meets and corresponds with clients or outside personnel.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required or

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required or

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required

  • Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

  • Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures.

  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Strong computer skills include AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D Rendering Programs, hydraulic analysis, and HVAC analysis programs.

  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Engineers in Training-EIT Certification Preferred

Compensation

$115,000.00 - $160,000.00

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
