Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Power Platform Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI, along with proficiency in Power Apps and Automate. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as creating custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Automate to streamline business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and implement data models, data transformations, and data visualizations to support analytical needs.
Optimize performance of Power BI reports and queries for efficient data retrieval and visualization.
Develop custom applications using Power Apps to automate business processes and enhance productivity.
Create workflows and automate repetitive tasks using Power Automate to improve operational efficiency.
Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of Power BI, Power Apps, and Automate solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI, Power Apps, and Automate development.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M (Power Query) languages.
Experience in designing and implementing data models and ETL processes.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Hands-on experience with Power Apps development, including canvas apps and model-driven apps.
Familiarity with Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) for workflow automation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power Platform certification(s).
Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
